We've been repairing pool equipment across Allen for over two decades. Allen exploded in the late 1990s and 2000s — the population jumped from 18,000 to over 100,000 — and pools went in right along with it. Over half the homes in Allen were built after 2000, which means a lot of original equipment is now 15 to 25 years old and hitting the end of its lifespan. We know these systems inside and out.
Twin Creeks, Estates of Twin Creeks, Legends at Twin Creeks, and the neighborhoods along the Twin Creeks golf course. Twin Creeks is one of Allen's largest and most established communities, with homes dating back to the late 1990s. The older sections are right in the sweet spot for full equipment replacements — original Jandy and Hayward systems reaching 20+ years. The Estates homes tend to run more complex setups with dedicated spa equipment, automation, and gas heaters that need a tech who knows the wiring, not just the plumbing.
Star Creek, Suncreek, Stacy Ridge Estates, and the subdivisions along Stacy Road and Angel Parkway. Star Creek has been building out since the mid-2000s with newer phases still going up. The earlier sections are hitting first-generation equipment failures — pumps losing prime, heater ignition issues, salt cells wearing out after 5–7 years. We see a lot of Pentair IntelliCenter and IntelliFlo systems in these neighborhoods and carry the boards and parts to match.
Montgomery Farm, Montgomery Farm Estates, Watters Crossing, and the neighborhoods along Watters Creek. These are some of Allen's most recognized communities, with tree-lined streets and well-maintained lots. Homes range from the early 2000s to recent builds. The older Montgomery Farm sections are due for variable-speed pump conversions and heater replacements — the original Raypak and Hayward H-Series units from the early 2000s are showing their age.
Waterford Crossing, Waterford Parks, Waterford Trails, Glendover Park, and Shaddock Park. These neighborhoods sit in the heart of Allen with homes built primarily from the mid-2000s through the 2010s. Pool equipment here tends to be in the 10- to 18-year range — old enough to start failing but new enough that parts are still available. We regularly handle salt cell replacements, control board swaps, and filter overhauls in these communities.
Allen North, Ridgeview Crossing, Summerfield, Quail Run, Raintree Estates, and Pecan Meadow. These are some of Allen's earliest residential neighborhoods, with homes dating back to the 1980s and early 1990s — before the city's big boom. Pools here are often the oldest in Allen, with equipment that's been replaced once or twice already. We see a mix of legacy Sta-Rite and Hayward gear alongside newer Pentair retrofits, and we know how to work with both.
Lost Creek Ranch, Cottonwood Crossing, Cottonwood Bend, Villas of Cottonwood Creek, and Brookside. The west side of Allen along US-75 features a mix of established and newer construction. Some of these pools are still under builder warranty while others are approaching their first round of equipment repairs. Common calls here are programming help with new automation systems, warranty diagnostics, and salt chlorinator troubleshooting on systems that are just a few years old.
Diagnosed a bad ignition control module — not the gas valve, which is what another company had quoted to replace. Saved the homeowner over $800 by fixing the actual problem instead of replacing parts that weren’t broken.
