Local Pool Equipment Repair

Weatherford Neighborhoods We Serve

We've been repairing pool equipment across Weatherford and Parker County for over two decades. Weatherford has nearly doubled in size since 2000, growing from around 19,000 to over 38,000, and the construction boom that came with it put pools in backyards from downtown estates to acreage subdivisions on every side of town. That means equipment out here ranges from 40-year-old setups on historic properties near the courthouse square to brand-new builder installs in communities still under construction. We know what's running because we've been fixing it for years.

Crown Valley, Heights of Weatherford & West Weatherford Estates

Neighborhoods: Crown Valley · Crown Valley Estates · Heights of Weatherford Estates · Quanah Hill · Quanah Hill Estates · Canyon West · Dove Hill

Crown Valley and The Heights of Weatherford are gated hilltop communities with some of the most upscale homes and pools in Parker County: custom builds on generous lots with resort-style pools, dedicated spas, gas heating, water features, and full automation systems. The Heights community pool and park set the standard, but the private pools here are just as impressive. Equipment ranges from Pentair IntelliCenter and Jandy iAquaLink automation to complex multi-circuit pads running dedicated spa heaters alongside main pool equipment. Canyon West wraps around the golf club and features executive homes from the early 2000s through the 2010s. Pools here are 10 to 20 years old and hitting their first major equipment replacement cycle. We regularly handle variable-speed pump conversions, corroded heat exchanger replacements, and automation panel upgrades throughout these western Weatherford neighborhoods.

Eagles Bluff, Ellis Creek Ranch & Acreage Estates

Neighborhoods: Eagles Bluff · Ellis Creek Ranch · Cartwright Ranch · Hidden Springs Ranch · Saddle Club Estates · Saddlecrest Estates · Quail Springs Ranch

These are Weatherford's premium acreage communities, custom homes on two to ten-plus acres with pools built to match the property. Eagles Bluff is a private gated community with stocked fishing ponds and luxury homes featuring elaborate pool setups: vanishing edges, raised spas, extensive rock work, and multi-circuit equipment pads that require experienced diagnostics. Ellis Creek Ranch runs to custom homes with high-end features like private pools on large acreage. Equipment here tends to be newer but complex, with gas heaters, salt systems, and automation that needs proper programming and maintenance. Cartwright Ranch south of I-20 features 2-acre homesites with newer construction and pools that are still under warranty or just past it: common calls include salt cell troubleshooting, heater ignition issues, and builder-grade automation that wasn't programmed correctly from the start.

Silverstone, Brock & South Weatherford

Neighborhoods: Silverstone at Pearson Ranch · Southwinds · Horseshoe Bend · Sandstone Estates · Smokey Branch Estates · Diamond Ridge Ranch · Rio Brazos

Silverstone at Pearson Ranch is one of Weatherford's larger master-planned communities with homes from the 2010s through current construction. Pools here are relatively new but already generating steady service calls as builder-grade equipment hits the 5 to 10-year mark. Common work includes single-speed to variable-speed pump conversions, salt chlorinator cell replacements, and automation reprogramming. Southwinds offers more budget-friendly homes with straightforward pool setups: typically a single-speed pump, cartridge filter, and basic timeclock that we upgrade to modern automation and energy-efficient equipment. Horseshoe Bend and the neighborhoods south toward the Brazos River feature custom homes on larger lots with pools exposed to sandy Parker County soil. We see more plumbing issues here from shifting ground, along with filter systems clogged by the fine dust and sand that blows through open ranch country.

Lakeshore, Lake Weatherford & Waterfront Properties

Neighborhoods: Lakeshore Hills · Lake Hollow Estates · Lakeway Estates · Western Lake · Lake Weatherford area · Highland Park · Woodland Hills

Lake Weatherford is a popular recreational lake just outside city limits, and the homes surrounding it range from 1970s-era bungalows to modern custom builds, pools here span four decades of equipment generations. Lakeshore Hills and Lake Hollow Estates have established homes from the 1980s and 1990s with pools that have been through at least two full equipment cycles. We regularly do complete equipment pad overhauls in these neighborhoods: new variable-speed pump, new filter, new heater, and modern automation to replace decades-old timeclock-and-relay setups. Waterfront and near-lake properties deal with constant humidity and moisture exposure that accelerates corrosion on heater components, electrical connections, and metal equipment housings. Lakeway Estates and Western Lake area homes on larger lots often have pools that were added after the original home construction, which means equipment pads are sometimes in awkward locations with non-standard plumbing runs that complicate service work.

Historic Downtown, South Main & Established Weatherford

Neighborhoods: Roselawn · Highland Park · Mineral Heights · Forest Park · Forest Bend · Westover Village · Pleasant Valley · The Meadows

These are Weatherford's original residential neighborhoods: the areas that grew up around the courthouse square, along South Main, and near Weatherford College. Homes here date from the early 1900s through the 1980s, and pools range from 30 to 50+ years old. Some of the historic district properties near Chandor Gardens have pools that are among the oldest in Parker County, with equipment pads that have been through three or four generations of pumps, heaters, and controls. Roselawn and Forest Park feature mid-century homes under mature trees where we commonly replace aging Hayward Super Pumps and Sta-Rite equipment that ran for 15+ years before finally giving out. Westover Village and Pleasant Valley are 1990s to 2000s neighborhoods with pools now solidly in their first major replacement cycle: variable-speed pump upgrades, salt system installations, and automation conversions are the most common projects.

Hudson Oaks, Willow Park & East Parker County

Neighborhoods: Hudson Oaks · Willow Park · Walsh Ranch · Moriah Farms · Oakwood Creek Estates · North Star Crossing · Park Oaks · Vintage Oaks

Hudson Oaks and Willow Park sit between Weatherford and Fort Worth along the I-20 corridor, the fastest-growing stretch in Parker County. Walsh Ranch is a massive master-planned community with new construction still going in, meaning pools here are brand-new with current-generation Pentair and Hayward equipment. Most service calls are warranty-related: programming issues, salt system calibration, and builder-installed equipment that needs adjustment after the first season. Willow Park's established neighborhoods have homes from the 1990s and 2000s with pools 15 to 25 years old, right in the sweet spot where original equipment is failing and homeowners are upgrading. Oakwood Creek Estates and Park Oaks feature traditional homes on standard lots where we do steady volume of pump replacements, heater repairs, and filter overhauls. Vintage Oaks and newer east-side communities are still being built out. Pools here are under 5 years old but we already see the usual new-construction issues: improperly plumbed equipment, undersized heaters for the pool volume, and automation that was never configured correctly by the builder's subcontractor.

Recent Work

Recent Pool Repairs in Weatherford

Jobs we have completed recently around Parker County.

Pool Heater and Automation Install - Westridge

A heater on its own will warm your pool. A heater tied into automation will do it on a schedule, hold the temperature you asked for, and let you turn the spa on from inside the house. This Westridge job was a Jandy JXi going in alongside the filter and blower, with the plumbing and the electrical both done properly at the same time. That matters more than people expect, because most of the heater problems we get called out to later are not the heater at all. They are shortcuts taken on the day it went in.

Hayward Salt System Install - The Oaks

Going to salt does not mean you stop chlorinating your pool. It means the pool makes its own chlorine from salt in the water instead of you carrying jugs home every week. That is the whole appeal, and it is why we put a lot of these in. This one is a Hayward AquaRite 900 at a home in The Oaks. The cell does the work, the panel tells you what your salt level is doing, and once it is dialled in the day to day gets a lot quieter. If you are weighing up a salt water pool system, the week to week running of it is where most people land.

Pool Pump Installation - Sonterra Estates

Most people replace a pump because the old one finally gave up, and then they are surprised by the electricity bill afterwards. A pump runs more hours than anything else you own outside, so the difference between an old single speed and a modern variable speed shows up on every bill. This install went in out at Sonterra Estates. If your pump is loud, running hot, or you are hearing it struggle to prime in the morning, it is worth having someone look before it quits on a hot weekend.

Pool Pump Repair - Crown Valley

Not every pump that stops needs replacing. Plenty of the calls we get turn out to be a seal, a capacitor, or a motor that has been running hot because something upstream is restricting it. Working out which one you are dealing with is the whole job, and it is the difference between a repair and a much bigger invoice. This one was at a home in Crown Valley, on a tidy pad where the pump had started giving trouble. Working out which one it is comes first on every pool pump repair we take.

Testimonials

Pool Repair Reviews In & Near Weatherford

“Fantastic service, great people. I had these guys out to my home for a warranty repair request. Jason took his time and was very meticulous in identifying the root cause of issues with my pool. Two hours later, he had identified several things that needed attention. It seems that similar pool contractors may rush a bit to find one thing to key on. Not Jason. Slow and steady. As a result, my pool is completely 'tuned up' and ready for the summer ahead. Can't say more good things about this company, their people and their work ethic. Highest recommendation. Kudos.”

Payton was very professional and helpful about explaining what was wrong and he fixed it. I have had bad experiences with other pool repair contractors but working with Water Tex was a very good experience! Thumbs up all the way 👍!”
